Where to Sail in the Caribbean
So you’ve made the decision to take this year’s vacation on the open seas and enjoy a chartered sailing vacation in the Caribbean. Its time to set your worries aside and let Captain Terry and his crew take care of all the details for you.
On board you’ll not only have all the supplies you need, along with plenty of activities and entertainment, but you’ll also have a chance at relaxation that only the crystal-blue waters of the ocean can provide. Of course, there is still one thing you’ll need to consider, and that is just where you’ll go.
Your options for sailing the Caribbean are endless. There are so many beautiful and lively destinations that the only trouble you’ll have is deciding which hot spots you want to visit. Of course, the Bahamas are always a good choice. There you can enjoy spicy local cuisine, gaze at the flamingo habitats that over 60,000 flamingos call home, and dance in some of the most exciting nightclubs in the world. And of course you can’t forget the famous Atlantis water park where you’ll be able to explore worlds unknown.
If you want to add a dash of history to your sailing vacation, you might want to consider letting Captain Terry and his crew whisk you around the Cayman Islands. You can walk along the famous Seven Mile Beach, check out the Pedro St. James Castle, go underwater to see real shipwrecks in Cayman Brac, and throw your anchor out for a bit in Little Cayman to try and capture a glimpse of the rare red-footed Bobby bird. And don’t forget to stop in George Town where you can check out more history in the local museums and browse some of the local shops.
These are just a few of your options when you choose to sail the Caribbean with Captain Terry. Chances are that along the way, you’ll discover even more exotic locations where you’ll want to spend some time and maybe even venture into unchartered waters to discover a new place all your own.
