The British Virgin Islands are a chain of many small and large islands scattered across one of the most beautiful waters in the world. Of those Islands, included the Norman Island. It is said to be named after a pirate who purchased it in the 18th century, and is also reputed to be the inspiration for the novel Treasure Island, and is even believed to have pirate treasure hidden on the island! Imagine going on a beautiful sailing vacation among a 51’ vessel named the “Mañana Maybe,” and stopping on a pirate-booty island! Most people had that dream as a kid, but now you can actually go!
Along with your vacation to the 600-acre, 2.5 mile long island, you should make sure to ask your Captain, Mr. Terry Clark, to take you to The Bight. The Bight is a bay off of Norman Island, which is famous for the three caves located within. These three caves are known for their beautiful snorkeling sights and their incredible darkness deep in the cave. After a nice snorkeling adventure, if you’re let down about not finding the treasure, take a swim over to Pirate’s Bar, Norman Island’s most famous bar. With entertainment and “pain-killers,” the bar’s famous drink, you can enjoy the rest of your night on Norman Island effortlessly. End your night with a beautiful sunset, and then on to the next incredible vacation day!
Booking your trip with Captain Terry to the Norman Island is very easy. Just log on to our homepage and see all necessary information to build your perfect vacation! Contact your captain immediately via email or telephone and get out on the water!

Memorable Occasion
Honeymoons and anniversaries should be celebrations of your life together. So why not charter a sailing yacht for that memorable occasion that you can treasure forever.
Put yourselves in the hands of Captain Terry and enjoy a week of luxurious splendor aboard his yacht – the Mañana Maybe- sailing through the crystal clear waters of the British Virgin Islands. You can design your own holiday activities or let the Captain take charge and show you the very best that the Islands have to offer.
Whether you’re a seasoned fisherman, diver and swimmer or new to it all, enjoy amazing experiences every single day. The islands each have unique qualities but they all share spectacular features including white, sandy beaches and plenty of great restaurants where you can enjoy scrumptious cuisine and socialize with friendly people from right around the world.
Why not take the helm yourself as you sail across the glistening waters, with perfect views of the fantastic array of marine life beneath you. The yacht is your home away from home as you decide how much time to spend aboard or onshore. Watch the sunrise or set from the deck of the magnificent yacht or while enjoying a nice chardonnay as you sit on the beach taking in the lovely sea air.
The Captain is happy to show you many different sites where you’ll discover abundant marine life, beautiful coral gardens, grottos and even shipwrecks for the more adventurous. His favorite island for snorkeling and diving is the Anegada, which is also known for some of the best deep-sea and shallow water fishing in the world. There is also plenty of variety of game fish for fly-fishing.
Swap your normal life for a week of glorious sun-filled days hiking or going for walks on the tropical islands. Your holiday will be a real adventure with new things to do every single day. That’s what holidays are for. Don’t forget to take plenty of photos along the way.
Instead of flying off to a popular destination or taking a long drive, why not charter a sailing yacht for that memorable occasion and have a spectacular holiday you’ll remember forever.
