Hi Terry,
“Crew” Nelson had a fantastic week together as a family with Captain Terry and his wife Ingrid. With everyone working now, it is hard to coordinate a whole week together with everyone’s schedule. So we all thoroughly enjoyed spending 7 days exploring islands, snorkeling every day, learning to sail, and just relaxing with our family. Everyone claimed it was the best vacation of their lives, and while there were many highlights during the week, I think all would agree the whole week was a fantastic adventure. And we have over 1200 pictures to prove it!
Thanks,
Mary

Dear Terry and Ingrid,
What a treat you both are and I hope that the next time you come to Charleston you will let us know so we can spend some time with you. You are also welcome to stay with us any time, although please be warned that I can not throw together a few meager groceries and make a feast out of it like Ingrid can, however I can select a delightful restaurant and make reservations. That’s my talent, actually, and I am quite good at it.
The sailing trip was memorable, the outstanding Captain that you are, you weaved your way around those islands like an expert and we managed to find fun in everything we did, including laughing hysterically from first thing in the morning till the last moment in the evening. You are indeed Master and Commander, thanks to you and Ingrid for a wonderful vacation that Lash and I will never ever forget.

Hello Terry!
It has been too long! You must know that I think of the BVI I trip so often, it was one of the best experiences of my life. Scuba Diving was the highlight, and I cannot wait to go sailing with you again some day!
Robert and I graduated in April from our Business school. He has moved down to New York and has begun training with Goldman Sachs. He just moved into his new apartment with a friend from home. His training ends in August and he begins actual work in September. (I think he will have a very busy year!).
Last weekend I went skydiving over the Swiss Alps for the first time, it was incredible! (The only thing that compared to the thrill of skydiving was when I went Scuba Diving in BVI!)
Next September I will be in Law School a few hours away from Toronto. I am very excited, but a little nervous because it will be a lot of work. What have you planned for the fall? Do you have many trip planned after the summer months have finished?
I hope you are having fun (I am sure you are!) and meeting some wonderful people on your trips!
I hope you are well, please keep in touch, I love receiving your emails and hearing about your trips.
Sincerely,
Carolyn
PS. I showed your website to a few of my friends that I met in Germany! They were quite impressed, and I recommended that they travel with you when they start making some money!
Two American Brothers, 8 Day Charter June 10-18 2008
Chris and I really had a great time and would definitely recommend Terry’s services for future trips! We got to see a wide variety of islands, beaches, hiking areas, snorkeling places, marine life, and cocktails over the 7 days and had some nice winds for sailing from place to place! I think the most interesting part was that every island and snorkeling area was different from the others and the flexibility of being on our own boat and being able to do things at our own pace, really made a big difference in what we were able to see and understand about each area. Plus, when we were sailing, Terry did a nice job of letting us do as much or as little as we wanted and for Chris and I, we definitely took advantage when the winds were strong and by the end of the trip, Terry didn’t need to do much sailing at all!
For Chris and I it was especially enjoyable as he moved to Boston the day after we got back, so it was a great way for us to get some quality time together before the move and get to do something that we both had on our lifetime goals list!

A European Couple 10 Day Charter May 3-13 2008
As a young couple (ok ok, both of us in the late 30ies…) from Russia and Switzerland, we planned our 10 days sailing trip with Terry as the Captain aboard a 36” Jeanneau yacht in the British Virgin Islands as part of our trip around the world. Terry is very knowledgeable about this beautiful part of the world and we felt very safe at any point in time. Terry was flexible in adapting the plans to our needs and wishes along the way and he is a great guy to discuss over a glass of wine (or two), not only about sailing but world events ;-) In a nutshell: our sailing cruise in the Caribbean was definitively one of the highlights of our trip and we can full-heartedly recommend Terry if you plan a similar trip yourself. Next year we are planning a 30 day trip with Terry.

Charter March 15-22 - Three couples and a 14 year old son…….The boat 52’ GibSea with 5 cabins and 5 heads
Terry,
I want to thank you for a wonderful time. You are a great captain and guide.
I realized when I got up on Easter Sunday how relaxed I was. It was a unique vacation and it had a wonderful and healing effect on me and Kathy. Kathy and I were out with the kids for Easter brunch and she went on and on about how great a trip it was. She is saying it is the best vacation she ever had ( and we have had some wonderful vacations).
Thanks Terry and Ingrid.
God Bless,

Charter March 8-15 – A Father (President and Founder of High Tech Company in Paoli PA) and his 19 year old son……….The boat a 40’ Jenneau 3 and 3
I wanted to take my son on a special father and son sailing trip in the Caribbean but we needed a captain who could take care of the details. I searched on Google and we were incredibly fortunate to discover Captain Terry Clark.
Terry took care of all the details. He led us through each step of the charter planning process, and everything went off like clockwork. My son and I had the best vacation sailing and snorkeling around the British Virgin Islands.
Terry knew all the best spots to snorkel, eat, party, and moor for the night. He had a great itinerary planned with options depending on how the winds were blowing. We saw amazing sites, incredible coral, and loads of fish.
Terry will take care of sailing the boat, or if you prefer he will teach you the 'ropes' and let you do as much as you like. We were at the helm as soon as we left the harbor. It was fantastic fun! I had no idea before, but I have to say that the British Virgin Islands (BVIs) has to be one of the very best locations for a sailing vacation. The number and size of the yachts is amazing.
There are also some top Caribbean vacation destinations there and Terry will do a split itinerary where you can do some days on land and some days sailing.
If you have any interest, I can't recommend it enough.

Hey Captain Terry!
I just wanted to thank you once again for an unforgettable Spring Break!!!! Sailing in the British Virgin Islands with you for my Spring Break Vacation was certainly one of the most incredible experiences of my life. From beaches to fun bars, from unique island adventures to scuba diving and snorkeling to learning how to SAIL and a whole host of other activities available to us in BVI. You really did your best to make sure we never had a dull moment together! My girlfriend and I sincerely appreciated your hospitality throughout the entire trip and you went out of your way several times to make sure we truly had the best vacation ever in our young lives! You were extremely nice to deal with prior to our departure to ensure that we were as prepared as possible before arriving on the boat. Once aboard, again I cannot thank you enough for what a fantastic time we had. Most of all Terry – I enjoyed getting to know you as a friend. I look forward to many more future sailing adventures together. Thanks again for everything!
Cheers,

"My First Time…
SAILING, that is, was an incredible experience with Captain Terry and Ingrid Clark . I had just graduated high school and on a tropical vacation with my aunt and uncle in the US Virgin Islands; the surprise of the trip was sailing with two of the most down-to-Earth, friendly people that I’ve ever had the chance to meet. CaptainTerry was extremely patient with a Caribbean rookie teaching me the terminology and sailing basics that I needed to man the helm . Whether you are a first-timer or a seasoned sailing veteran, Captain Clark can offer an unforgettable trip filled with many laughs and much fun.
It has to be the greatest sailing memory and the greatest tan I’ve ever had!"

Hello Captain Terry,
"The art of sailing has always had a romantic flavor to it, but all too often the problems that arise between the marriage of sunsets and cocktails to their long lost love wind and bad weather can only be solved through experience. I've sailed with Terry through sunsets, cocktails, wind and bad weather and was confident throughout all that his experience and respect for the water and wind would create safe and enjoyable adventures. And they did just that."
Thanks for a Great Adventure,

Dear Terry,
I just had to write after our great experience with you in the American and British Virgin Islands. As you know when each of our nieces or nephews graduate from high school Donna and I take them on a trip of their choice. It's a great opportunity to get them all to ourselves without parents or siblings around. And Terry our experience with you in the Caribbean was the perfect fit.
We took a combo package in the VI which was part land based and sail based. After the sensation of trimming the sails my nephew and I agreed that we probably should have done a 100% sail. The smile never left his face when you showed him the basics at the helm. In fact if you remember I couldn't get the wheel away from him. It truly was the best part of an outstanding vacation. Capt Terry you made us feel safe and you made it fun.
We've got a couple of more trips with the kids in the future. My vote is to sail once again with Capt. Terry.
Donna and I want to thank you and wish you continued success. Art Eckman
